Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 19, 2010, at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. W.B. was born on May 21, 1922, to the late Willie David and Maude (Green) McMillan in Petersburg, Texas. In 1944 he married Elsie Franklin in Clovis. She preceded him in death on February 18, 2003. W.B. owned and operated his own accounting office in Earth from 1968 to 1990. He served as mayor of Earth and Buffalo Springs Lake. W.B. also served in the Army-Air Corps during WWII.
Those left to cherish his memories are his son, Larry McMillan and wife Kelly Jo of Lubbock; two grandchildren: Allen McMillan and wife Kayla of Lubbock and Amanda Gore and husband Marty of Lubbock; two great granddaughters: Ashlyn and Kenly McMillan of Lubbock; a brother, B.E. McMillan and wife Bennie of Lubbock; and a sister, Wynona McMillan of Kansas.
