Wilma Inez Nixon

Wilma was born March 4, 1919 to Thomas Radmas and Katherine Azzie Brasher. She married James Melvin Nixon in 1938 in Littlefield, Texas and had three children.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Judy Burke and is survived by daughter, Yvonne and husband, Leon Moore of Hobbs, New Mexico; son, Gene Nixon and wife, Vickie of Avinger, Texas. She also leaves a beautiful legacy of grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Hobbs.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Memorial Contributions may be made to: Temple Baptist Church in Hobbs, New Mexico or to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
