Winston Paul Berryman, 83, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 26, 2025. Born in Littlefield, Texas, to Bill and Emily Berryman, Winston lived a life marked by faith, family, and an unwavering work ethic.
Winston proudly served in the U.S. Army before dedicating himself to his family and community. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nancy, and a loving father to his sons, Jeff (Terry) of Lubbock, Texas, and Brad (Tessa) of Litchfield Park, Arizona. Winston cherished his grandchildren—Casey, Cody, Cole, and Raina—and his great-grandchildren, Heidi, Bodhi, and Whitt, who brought him immense joy.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his sons and their families; and his sister, Pansy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe.
Known for his steadfast commitment to his faith, Winston was a pillar of Broadview Baptist Church, where he was always prepared with a Sunday school lesson that inspired and uplifted those around him. His hard work and dedication touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of integrity and love.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Broadview Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas, to celebrate Winston’s remarkable life. A visitation will be held from 5-7:30 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church in his memory.
