The best memories - the beautiful lady always so regal and tall.  I loved when you came to the farm.  I couldn't wait to sit on your lap on the porch or go for a walk in the field.  I loved the sound of your voice.  May you have eternal peace - until we meet again.

Aunt Carmen, certain memories always come to mind.  I picture you entering the room at Thanksgiving with your hair in a beautiful French bun and an air of sophistication that couldn't be beat.  Then you would sit down and talk and the down to earth Vermont farm sensibility and humor made you shine. When dad was in the hospital in New York and you gave me a change purse full of quarters to get around with. I still have that purse. And I remember you talking about how important it was for women to demand respect for their skills and their smarts as professionals. You left a mark Aunt Carmen, you did good. - Betsy
