To Etta's family,
We were away at the time of the celebration of her life. I first met Etta when Winfred came to our Adult Day Program & she participated in our support group. What a delightful lady & I know how much she loved all of you. Heartfelt sympathy.

Etta was our neighbor in Cavendish since my parents bought the house across the street in 1968. She was always such a wonderful woman, always looking out for us little kids. We are all better off for having known her. Our most sincere condolences. The Miele Family

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Aunt Etta. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family. She was a wonderful woman who is remembered for her big heart and warm smile that I remember from the family reunions. She was always curious about my family even though we lived so far away. God Bless.

So sad to hear of aunt Ettas passing. I will always remember her colorful personality though i only knew her through short visits at family gatherings. She had a zest for life that only few people possess. She was always interested in how our side of the family was doing. Though she wasnt able to attend our family reunion at my moms property in Tunbridge this past summer, we were all thinking of her and wishing she were there. She was always the life of the party.
I also remember that she was very well dressed and usually wore some sort of fancy hat. I think she prided herself on her appearance. It was most evident.
She was most certainly a "lady", and most certainly "one of a kind".
We will miss her. My condolences to all family members.

I knew Etta since we moved to Cavendish many years ago. she was a nice lady who was always involved in one thing or another. What stands out in my mind is the chicken barbecues at the firehall. she will be missed.

i loved seeing etta every week at the senior center when ii came with art projects. she enjoyed drawing cats. she gave me her collection of aa lifetime of doll picture cut-outs and i gave her the doll i made me for her at fletcher farm with my granddaughter. may husband stan and i once surprised her with a pair of sturdy athletic shoes to help her maintain her strong stride and she honored and moved us deeply with her tears of appreciation.
she was always delightful, warm and wise and so lovable.
i will miss dear eta.

Our sincere sympathy & thoughts goes to the family of Etta Dean. Aunt Etta was a
remarkable lady. She was very fashionable, always dressing in style with
her stylish hats. She cared very much
for family, her many trips to Chelsea to
visit with her sister Ruth & attending
many family reunions. She will be missed
by many whose lives she touched.
