Margarette Ethel Ryan

Margarette E. Ryan, 96 passed away on March 25th, 2016 at Springfield Hospital. Margarette was born in Sherburne, Vt. on April 22, 1919 to Frank and Elsie (Johnson) Blanchard. She was the 6th of 16 children. Margarette is survived b a son George Twine and his wife Gail of Jefferson City Tenn. and a daughter Donna Cross and her husband Gary of Perkinsville, VT. She is also survived by four sisters Geneva Lampert of Spring Texas, Alberta Mellen of Windsor, Vt., Elsie Wilder of Ludlow, Vt. and Lucille Curtis of Springfield, Vt. Margarette is survived by six grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond “Jack” Ryan, a son Duane Twine, 2 daughters Myrtle “Hon” Warren and Judy Sisson, 2 grandsons Steve Warren and Darren Twine, and a great granddaughter Seleste Fenoff and eleven siblings.

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Proctorsville, Vt. on Friday April 22, 2016 at 2 PM. A gathering will be held following service at the Ludlow Senior Center on High St in Ludlow. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to the Gill Odd Fellows Home activities department 8 Gill Terrace Ludlow, VT 05149
