Aaron Taylor Simmons Powell

Ms. Powell was born September 17, 1980 in Hattiesburg to Ben Simmons and Ann Parker Simmons. She was a Registered Nurse and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church - Seneca, Mississippi.

Aaron was a strong outgoing person, a skilled nurse and a friend to many. Above all, Aaron was a devout follower of Jesus Christ. Aaron was a staunch advocate for those who were in need. She will be sorely missed.

In addition to her mother; her stepson, Blake Powell precedes her in death.

Left to cherish her memories are her adored daughter, Taylor Alexis Powell; her father, Ben (Sandra) Simmons; three siblings, Clint (Lacey) Simmons, Angela Hughes, Kevin Simmons; her former husband, Jamie Powell; a host of extended family, friends, and coworkers.

Graveside services will be held at Simmons Cemetery (200 A B Simmons Road, Purvis, MS, 39475) on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Father Ken-Ramon Landry will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jim Abney, Brandon Godfrey, Seth Simmons, Matt Hoda, Matthew Simmons and Robert Boone.
