Billie Ruth Davis Baker

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday January 29, 2011 at White Funeral Home, Lumberton for Mrs. Billie Ruth Clark Baker, 80, of Lumberton, Mississippi who died Wednesday January 26, 2011 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Brother Dean Miller and Brother Brian Williamson will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Little Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Lumberton, Mississippi she was born February 11, 1930 to Andy and Tiny Casper Davis. She was a homemaker and attended Central Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Charles Clark of Dallas, Texas and Gary Edward Clark of Kiln, Mississippi; two daughters, Tiny Diane Clark Allen and her husband Narvell of Purvis, Mississippi and Melissa Ann “Lissa” Clark Phillips and her husband John E. “Bud” of Ohatchee, Alabama; one brother, James Andy Davis and his wife Nell of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; three sisters, Betty Lou Burnett of Little Rock, Arkansas, Shirley Ann Reid of Lumberton, Mississippi, and Linda Sue Wilson of Wiggins, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Vincent Allen, J.D., Dr. Jennifer Allen, D.V.M., Dr. Amber Barry, M.D., Dr. Tara Allen, M.D., Shelbie Leigh Phillips, and William Edward Phillips; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Clark on July 13, 2004 and a host of brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday January 28, 2011 at White Funeral Home, Lumberton.
