Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, MS, 39455 on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Hickory Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am, Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Owens was born May 27, 1951 in Poplarville, Mississippi to Fred Hollis and Neva Mae Broadus Owens. He was a truck driver.
Family members include two daughters, Tina Owens, Tammy Landrum; three granddaughters, Ariel Miller, Madelyn Turnage, Gabrielle Roberts; three sisters, Yvonne Lee, Ann Nelson, Jeanette Davis; one brother, Freddie Paul Owens; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rachael Swilley Owens.
