B.J. Lee, 92, of Lumberton, Mississippi died Thursday, September 5, 2013 in Lamar Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lumberton.
Mr. Lee was a retired supervisor with McKee Foods and a retired Veteran Service Officer with Lamar County. He was a member of Bass Memorial Academy Seventh Day Adventist Church and an United States Army veteran receiving a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in the Invasion of Normandy during World War II.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Madison and Daisy Dean Davis-Lee; first wife, Vera Fay Busby Lee; and second wife, Laverna Flowers Lee.
Survivors include two sons, Grady M. (Pat) Lee of Purvis, MS and William (Nita) Lee of Lumberton, MS; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at White Funeral Home, Lumberton with interment following in Talowah Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services, Sunday at the funeral home.
