Harold Edward Slade

Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:00 am in Lewis Davis Cemetery, Gumpond, Mississippi under the direction of White Funeral Home.

A lifetime resident of Gumpond, Mississippi; Harold was a member of Living Word Apostolic Church in Lumberton, Mississippi and retired welder with Cooper Power Systems in Lumberton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Allan and Bertie Mae Broadus Slade; infant son, Ricky Dawayne Slade; and one brother, Joe Fred Slade.

Family members include his wife of 62 years, Olga Mae Shiyou Slade; six children, Randall (Hope) Slade of Gumpond, Michael (Kathy) Slade of Necaise Crossing, Kem (Sandy) Slade, Rodney (Veronica) Slade, Connie (Hubert) Ladner, Shannon (Curtis) Seal; one sister, Merle (Gary) Lee all of Gumpond, MS; sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Harold will be great missed by his family and loved ones, as well as a whole cadre of friends.
