James Miller Saul, 92, of Lumberton, Mississippi, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Hattiesburg Health and Rehabilitation.
Mr. Saul was born February 12, 1925 in Laurel, Mississippi to Virgie Cooley Saul and Lena Margaret Rogers Saul. He was a retired welder and mechanic with Baxterville Oil Company.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Joyce Saul; three sisters, Ruby Lee Shaw, Violet Nobles, Vera Saul; two brothers, James Saul, O.C. Saul; two grandchildren, Dennis Pardue and Bridget Clark.
Family members include four daughters, Geraldine Sylvester, Rita Preston, Joyce Boe, Charlene Wilczek; one son, Jessie Saul; three sisters, Lottie Refice, Jean Saul, Betty Lowe; two brothers, Cooley Saul, George Saul; twelve grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and extended family.
Graveside funeral services will be at CORINTH BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY, 712 Corinth Road, Purvis, MS, 39475 on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Danny Saul, Rev. Tommy Jones, and Rev. Ron Alexander will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, MS, 39455.
