John Odis Ladner

Mr. Ladner was born September 7, 1929 in Purvis, Mississippi to Otis Lamar and Annie Rae Dearman Ladner. He was a retired instructor with Pearl River Community College, an alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi, and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sammie Jacqueline Lee Ladner; and one sister, Juanita "Sis" Hemba.

Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Sherrill) High of Lumberton, MS; one son, Greg Ladner of Hattiesburg, MS; one sister, Sue (Larry) Speights of Satsuma, AL; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 10, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, MS 39455 with interment following in Lumberton City Cemetery. Visitation one prior to the services, Sunday at the funeral home.
