Margaret "Jean" Saul

Margaret "Jean" Saul, age 76 passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025. She was born in Poplarville, Mississippi on May 29, 1949 and a resident of Baxterville, Mississippi. Jean was a kind soul that loved meeting new people and never treated anyone as a stranger. Awesome at math, she loved playing card games and word games. Her first loves were her children and family. For those she would do all. Special thanks to niece, Liz Hurt for being the "fifth" daughter and the entertainment partner. And to her sister, Betty Jo for being her true caretaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee; parents, Virgil and Lena Saul; five brothers, O.C. Saul, James Saul, Miller Saul, Cooley Saul and Shorty Saul and three sisters, Violet (Elmer) Nobles, Ruby (Carl) Shaw and Vera Saul.

Left to forever cherish Jean's memory are her four daughters, Angela (Dale) Green, Rachel (Don) Poppe, Jessica (Nancy) Vincent and Jacquelyn Hancock; two sisters, Betty Jo (the late Doug) Lowe and Lottie Mae (Jim) Refice; two sister-in-laws, Claudia Saul and Diane Saul; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and even a few great-great of each.

Family and friends are invited to attend Jean's visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, Mississippi, followed by her funeral service at 6:30 PM.
