I have known Rick since we started law school together in 1978, along with those law school friends there today to carry him the last leg. I do not believe I've heard a more illuminating sermon than that give by his life long friend, Rev. Lazenby. It was a wonderful service. Thank you!

I have one major regret. I had expressed intentions of going to see Rick over the last several months. I did not make it. Never again will I hesitate. 

Rick left family and friends fond memories of a gentle soul with a comforting smile. He and his family remain in our prayers.

Prayers for the Hemba Family, Ricky you will be dearly missed by your many friends here on the Gulf Coast.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have alot of fond memories of Rickey while we attended school. He will be missed greatly.

I met Rickey through my job with David Lord and Associates and knew him for over eighteen years. I have many great memories of this sweet man that range from bankruptcy work to deep sea fishing and of course the many, many questions I asked about his buddy John Grisham. Gone much too soon but I will remember that smile forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Rickey's family. I enjoyed growing up and attending school in Lumberton with Joel, Phillip, and Cindy. May God give you all strength and hold you close during this sad time.

I was deeply saddened when I learned of Rickey's death.  He has always held a special place in my heart and will live on there eternally.  My prayers and thoughts will be with you as you go through this difficult and sad time.
