Walter Aaron Langley Jr.

Mr. Langley was born January 4th, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama. He was an United States Army Veteran; a retired Senior Probation Officer with the Florida Department of Corrections; a former correctional officer in the Leon County, Florida Jail; an alumnus of University of Southern Mississippi. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church of Lumberton; a member Sherrard Byrd Masonic Lodge in Poplarville and the Order Eastern Star; and a DeMolay Chapter Father - Robert Butler Lodge in Tallahassee, FL.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Aaron Langley, Sr..

Survivors are his Wife of 28 years, Melody Carole Langley; Mother, Dee Lois Langston; two sons: William (Kristina) Langley, Thomas (Meghan O'Laughlin) Langley; grandchildren, Walter Aaron Langley, III, Cordelia Noel Langley, William Brian Langley, Jr.; siblings; Sandra Joy (James) Henderson; nieces & nephews: Anthony Henderson, Aaron (Rachel) Henderson.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home (102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, Mississippi, 39455) on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS, 39531) at 2:30pm on Friday, January 28, 2022. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday evening at White Funeral Home, Lumberton.
