Betty Davis McDonald

Betty Lou Davis McDonald, 82, wife of the late Daniel Martin McDonald died Thursday, October, 9, 2014 in Biscoe, NC.

Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of the late Rowland and Mary Lou Ingram Davis. Mrs. McDonald graduated from Flora McDonald College magna cum laude. She later studied at Pembroke State University, East Carolina University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was a retired public school teacher and librarian. She taught at Saint Pauls City Schools and Cumberland County Schools. For the last ten years of her career she was librarian at Cliffdale Elementary School in Cumberland County

Mrs. McDonald is survived by her longtime friends, Colin and Glenda Osborne of Lumberton.

Graveside services will be held at 1PM. Monday, October 13,2014 in New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton conducted by Dr. David Elks.

Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
