James Robert Jacobs

Left to cherish his memories are his life-long companion of 35 years, Sarah Barton; children, Robert, Stevie, and Lisa; siblings, Coohooling, Herman and Coralena Chavis, Stanley, Eric, James, Kenneth Woriax, Carol Maynor, Margreate Hunt, Magdalena Locklear, and Felicia Perez; seven grandchildren and three special grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, and Cody; two great-grandchildren, and two special great-grandchildren, Haley and Joshua Goins, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Reeves Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Cape Fear Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Swett and Rev. Jerry Thompson officiating.

He will be laid to rest in Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery.
