Linda Faye McMillian

She was born in Robeson County on July 28th 1946 to the late Graham and Lena Chavis.

She was a special mother, grandmother, sister and a loving wife. She was a dedicated Christian and a longtime member of Liberty Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Fredrick McMillian and three brothers, Huey, Freddie, and Graham Chavis, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Charles McMillian of the home; three daughters, Arlena Oxendine, Regina Oxendine, and Loretta Jacobs and husband Joey all of Shannon; two sons, Gregory and Bill McMillian of Shannon; a special grandson, Jalin Brooks; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Pickens, Grace Hammonds, Mary Jones, and Cindy Locklear, all of Shannon; one brother, Lacy Chavis of Shannon; and a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Biggs Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Liberty Holiness Church in Lumberton.

She will be laid to rest in the McMillan Family Cemetery.
