Edmond Harris Poche

Edmond “Malan” Harris Poche passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the age of 83. He was the son of the late Mark and Enola Poche. He is also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Barry Poche, Elwood Poche, Larry Poche, and Warren Poche; 1 sister, Jewel Poche; and one sister-in-law, Jane Poche. Survived by 2 brother, Mark Poche (Kim) and Douglas Poche; and 8 nieces and nephews: Nathan Poche, Marty Poche, Janell Chenier, Doug Poche Jr., John Poche, Dean Poche, Marie Firmin, and Joan Landry. He was a veteran of the US Army, and retired from Kaiser Aluminum. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a lifetime member of the Lutcher Quarterback Club. He was also a lifelong fan of John Wayne westerns.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 6490 Highway 44, Convent, LA on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Convent. Express condolences at www.hcalexanderfh.com.
