Electa Duhe Smith Copponex

On Monday, March 30, 2015, our beloved mother and friend, Electa Duhe Smith Copponex, was called to her eternal rest at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George L. Copponex Jr., parents Paul and Lucy Smith and a host of brothers, sisters, stepbrothers and stepsisters.

Electa is survived by her six children and their spouses; Paul Copponex (Catherine), Terry Copponex Martin, Crystal Heltz (Blaine), Cindy Malbrough (Wilson), Jill Corbett (Perry), Bill Louis Copponex. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous stepbrothers and stepsisters, stepchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA at 11:45 AM with Father Vincent Dufresne Officiating. Visitation begins at 7:00 AM until funeral time. Condolences may be expressed at www.HCAlexanderFH.com.
