Linda Mary Roques

Linda Mary Vicknair Roques, a lifelong resident of Paulina, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the age of 91. The loving wife of the late Theophile A. Roques Sr. She is survived by her children, Linda Weidert(George), Carol Pedroza, Tommy Roques(Nancy) and Craig Roques(Mary). Grandmother of Christel Scott(Keith), Eric Weidert, Chad Weidert(Susan), Dorene Bourgeois(Bart), Bryce Haydel, Brandon Roques, Thomas Roques Jr. (Dana), Brandy Haydel, and Lance Roques(Erika). Great grandmother of Nicole Trosclair, Chase, Dustin and Emily Weidert, Dylan Bonck, Paytin and Presley Bourgeois, Courtney Roques and Colin, Colby and Hadley Roques. Great-Great grandmother of Drake Gravois. She is preceded in death by her parents Leonce and Amy Vicknair, her infant son Theophile Roques Jr., her siblings; Lawrence, Clovis Albert, Earl and Paul Vicknair, Adlice Schexnayder, Rosemae Rome, and Pearl Gaudet and great grandson Jonathan Trosclair.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church choir and St. Anne’s Altar Society. Thanks to her caregivers and the staff at St. James Parish Hospital and River Region Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 9:00 AM till 10:30AMwith a funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum. Condolences may be expressed at www.hcalexanderfh.com
