Marguerite Poche Chabaud

Marguerite “Deedy” Poche Chabaud passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the age of 94. She was the loving wife of the late Hickley Gerard Chabaud. She is survived by 2 sons, Michael (Shirlene) and Kevin (Deanna) and preceded in death by 2 sons Ronald(Deborah) and John(Donna). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Melissa, Ron, Brandon, Hope, Todd, Patrick, Troy, Jamie, Jason, Erin and Colby; 17 great-grandchildren and 9 siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-mother and 3 brothers.

Marguerite enjoyed spending time with her family and practicing her faith. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a night wake at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 2208 Jefferson Hwy. Lutcher, La. 70071 on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6PM till 9PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the funeral home from 8AM till 10:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, La at 11AM. Interment will follow at the church Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St. Joseph Catholic Church, United by Faith Campaign.
