Mildred "Millie" Chauvin Arceneaux

On August 27, 1930, God sent an angel, and on March 4, 2015 He called her home at the age of 84 to join her loving husband, Edward John Arceneaux Sr. A native of Convent, LA, she is survived by her three children; Edward “Butch” Arceneaux Jr., Marilyn Arceneaux Waguespack (Ivy), and Jeffrey Arceneaux (Mollie). Grandchildren; Jennifer Waguespack Murphy (Jamie), Brad Waguespack (Heather), Devon Waguespack, Luke Arceneaux (Kyrie), Lindsey Saucier (Peter), and Laynie Arceneaux. Great grandchildren; Lauryn LeBoeuf, Peyton Murphy, Collin Waguespack, Alex Waguespack, Brennan Waguespack, and Owen Arceneaux. She is also survived by two sisters; Kathlyn Chauvin Alleman (Fred) and Paulette Chauvin Havard (Robert).

She is preceded in death by her parents; Lucien and Virginia Champton Chauvin, her two brothers; Walter Anthony Chauvin, Thomas Gerald Chauvin, and one sister; Marjorie Chauvin.

The family wishes to thank the staff of St. James Parish Hospital, St. Joseph Hospice, and Judy Owens of the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Convent, LA Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Convent, LA. Condolences may be expressed at www.HCAlexanderFH.com.
