Ada Kathleen Cain Jones

Born on November 18, 1926 in Clarksburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Homer Lee Cain and Bessie Powell Cain.

Ada retired, after 20 years of service, as a Legal Secretary from the Richland County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Mansfield, OH and attended Mountain View United Methodist Church in Forest.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Anabelle Fincham and Mary Carson and two brothers, Porter Cain and Hallie “Homer” Cain.

She is survived by her two sons, Chester “Chad” Jones, Jr. and wife Dolores of Boca Raton, FL and Charles Jones and his wife Anita Solow of Lynchburg; five grandsons, Brandon Jones, Brian Jones and his wife Courtney, Kevin Jones, Benjamin Jones, and Daniel Jones; one great granddaughter, Morgan Kathleen Jones; and her sister, Christine Post of Ohio.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with Lay Minister Russell Post officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, starting at 12:30 pm. Interment will be held at Culpeper National Cemetery.
