at her residence. She was the wife of the late John Philip Clisham.
Born January 31, 1937 in Nelson County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Boyd Martin and Gertrude Ballowe Martin. She retired from G.E. and Ericsson as a supervisor and was a member of The Kirk.
Alberta is also preceded in death by two sons, John Anderson “Andy” Tomlinson, Jr. and Dallas Lee Tomlinson; brothers, Denton, Elwood, and Reaves Martin; and sister Gladys Blanks.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Deanna Tomlinson Kravec and her husband, Michael of O’Bien, Fl.; three great-grandchildren, Destiney, Dallas M. and Darren M. Kravec; and brother, Vernon Martin.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Whitten Timberlake Chapel at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
