Alfred Moon Jr.

Born May 27, 1945 in Straightstone, Va, he was a son of the late Alfred Perrow Moon, Sr. and Louise Tribble Moon. He retired from Burlington Industries as a truck driver and was a member of the Hubbard Masonic Lodge and attended Thomas Road Baptist Church. He is also preceded in death by a brother, James Floyd Moon.

In addition to his wife, Pamela he is survived by daughter, Meghan Moon Bennett and husband, Roland III; sister, Jane Fisher and husband, Buck; very special aunt, Mildred Moon; very special cousin, June Pritchett and husband, Montie; an uncle, aunts, cousins, two nephews, and a number of very good friends.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by Pastor Roland Bennett, Jr. and the Rev. Mike Kelley.

Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
