It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Allen Adrian Abisia, age 37, on December 13, 2023. He was born on May 29, 1986 in Dau Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines. His father, Jeffrey Hesson Sr. adopted Allen and brought him to the U.S. at the age of 7. He graduated from Brookville High School and went on to work in landscaping where he eventually built his business, Creative Outdoors, from the ground up. When he wasn’t working, Allen loved to spend time with family and friends, compete in shooting tournaments, hunt, and fish. He always strived to be the best he could be in all of his endeavors. He especially enjoyed the camaraderie he found with the people within the firearm community.
Allen was an amazing man who was generous, loving, and dependable. While life did not always treat him fairly, he always looked for the best in every situation. He was a proud father and always wanted the very best for his kids. He looked forward to their visits and cherished them deeply. Allen was the kind of guy who would drop anything to help someone in need, no matter how well he knew them. He was outgoing and energized by being around people. He was the life of the party, and those that knew him would agree. His home was always open to anyone that needed a place to stay, rest, or a hot meal. He loved to cook and especially enjoyed cooking for others. While the struggles of this world became too much, even to the very end, his only thoughts were about those he loved. We will remember him as he was, as one of the best.
He is survived by his children; Ashton Abisia, Jack Watson, and Lainey Davis, parents; Alma Hesson, Jeffrey Hesson Sr., and Jody VanTassel, sister; Jessica Robinson, her husband Luke Robinson and their two children Henry and Sophia, brother; J.C. Hesson and his wife Megan Hesson, sister; Beka Hesson, co-parent; Kayla Holston, aunts, uncles, cousins, his beloved extended family in the Philippines, and a host of close friends.
A Celebration of Allen’s Life will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Fr. Salvador Anonuevo officiating. The family will receive friends after the service from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.
