Amanda Jo Hale Messick

Born November 6, 1974, in Linton, Indiana, Mandy lived a quiet life centered on the simple joys that brought her peace and comfort. Though mostly homebound, she found great happiness in observing the beauty of nature just outside her kitchen window. She treasured time spent talking on the phone with her mother, a connection that remained a constant source of love and support. Mandy also expressed her creativity through crafts, enjoying diamond art, building Legos, and a variety of other hands-on projects.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Gregory Messick of Monroe; her father, Kenneth Hale of Linton, IN; her mother, Judy Ann Long and stepfather, Mark Collier of Bedford, IN; one brother, Travis Hale of Linton, IN; two sisters, Christi Mathis of Bloomington, IN, and Leslie Molloy and her husband, Shawn, of LaGrange, IL; her uncle, Harrison Long of Jasonville, IN; her nephew, Xander Mathis of Bloomington, IN; her niece, Alexandria Hale; and a number of cherished great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents who preceded her in death, Mandy was welcomed into eternal rest by her maternal grandparents, George and Lois Long; her paternal grandparents, Bob and Betty Hale; one uncle, David Hale; and one aunt, Cathy Terry.
