Angela Elizabeth Mays

Angela Campbell Mays, 56, of Bedford went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 18, 2016. She was born in Bedford County on August 17, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Edward J. Campbell and the late Eleanor Goff Campbell.

Angela was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Elvis Presley.

In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by her birth son Cody Allen Campbell and a brother Curtis Allen Campbell.

She is survived by her son, J.W. Mays of Bedford; her brothers, Jay Campbell and wife Melissa of Goode and James Campbell of Goode and sister, Shirley Campbell of Evington.

A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Fitzgerald officiating.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, 1415 Florida Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24501.
