I don't think I ever saw Ann that she wasn't wearing the sweetest smile. Always laughing about something.  Her and Mildred are probably giving God and Mama Watts a fit.🤣When we went to Thomas Road Baptist Church, she would see me and yell out "hey 2 pounds". I'd say Ann please don't call me that in front of all these people, but that didn't matter at all. She continued  to call me that everytime she saw me.  I sure miss those good times and miss her too.  My Mom has been gone 6 years and today would have been her 100th birthday.   Enjoy those sweet memories. ❤🙏

Ann Moon  was a great  friend.  We grew up together  and went to same Church  Park Ave Baptist Church,  Then Thomas Rd Baptist Church    She will be missed by all.  Ann we will see you again in Heaven    Harold and Ann Knowles

I am sorry that I never had the pleasure of personally knowing Mrs Moon.  But for her to have raised such a fine son as Glenn, then she must have been an extraordinary woman and mother.

I have many fond memories of Ann Moon, but I cherish the ones that come from the time she spent with my mom, Shirley, while mom was in the hospital nearing the end of her life. I remember that my mom and Mama Watts, Ann’s mom, were in the hospital at the same time. It was like a family reunion when the evening visiting hours began and all the Watts kids and extended families arrived. Booley was running up and down the hallway taking care of everyone, Patty Sue was dividing her time between her mom and mine, Shelia would stop by after work to chat. Of course Big Jerry and Macel would make the rounds to visit church members who were in the hospital…and Bobby, I can remember how you and Ann would show up and instantly lighten the mood by entertaining the group with all sorts of memories. Ann would tell the funniest stories that made everyone laugh. At one of the most difficult times in my life, this person who I had known my entire life, who was dealing with the loss of her own mother was able to make me smile and taught me that it was okay to laugh. Ann had a gift that many take for granted; she had the gift of celebrating life.
I have in my mom’s hope chest two special keepsakes from Ann; a ceramic clown she gave me on a Sunday night in 1983 when I graduated from high school, and a card with a handwritten note she sent me some 20 years later after Donnie and I got married. The note said, “You finally got it right, he’s a keeper! Ann Moon”

I am so sorry to learn of Ann's passing. I remember her fondly. She was always smiling and made others smile too with her bubbly and witty personality.  Rhonda and Glen....I know all too well the pain from loosing your mother but just know that she is forever in your heart.  Cherish your wonderful memories of her. I'm positive that she is with you protecting you from Heaven above.  Please know that I am praying for you all. May the Lord wrap you all in his arms and comfort you during this time.

Ann was a very special lady, so thoughtful to remember her friends with cards and never failed to ask about the health of the family.  I was always amazed that she could recall my having mentioned a family member's health problem and she seemed genuinely concerned, asking for updates so she could pray more specifically.

Bobby, you will recall how she greeted my husband, Mac, each Sunday when we entered the sanctuary.  She always had to stand, give him a big hug, and tell me that he, "Bob," was her boyfriend.  She loved having fun and made others enjoy just being in her company.

Mac and I extend our condolences and pray that our Lord's peace will comfort you.  We will surely miss seeing her smiling face.

Oh! how  I  loved this precious Christian lady and everyone that knew her loved her! Her passion was to send cards to everyone for every occasion and I have many from her. Sending so much love and so many prayers to each of you.  Heaven has gained a saint and what a reunion that must have been when she saw Robin and Renee and of course her wonderful Lord. Ann was also preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Jane Martin, Mildred Page Gardner, Gaynelle Harris, and Patty Sue Powers and five brothers, Erle Watts, J. T. Watts, Milton Watts, Hilton “Ebb” Watts, and Benny Watts.


She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Chris, Jeremy, Shane, Stephanie, Tony, Heath, Bronson, Colton, Josh, and Trevor; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews;one brother-in-law, John (Max) Powers and one sister-in-law, Iris Watts.
