Born in Lynchburg, Ann devoted her life to serving her family, she was a very dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook, and her German chocolate cake was the best around. Ann loved bird watching, especially blue birds and tended to her own flowers. In addition to her family, she loved animals of all kinds, especially her grand dogs Hunter, and Star and her neighbor’s dog Curly that would visit her daily.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jimmie W. Morrissette; her children Danielle Williams and her husband Steve, of Lynchburg, and Matthew G. Morrissette and his wife Valerie of Whitsett, North Carolina; her grandson Wagner G. Morrissette; she is also survived by a number of cousins.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Celebrant Polly Starnes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.
