Obituary of Anneliese Kainz Moore
Written by Anneliese Kainz Moore ANNELIESE KAINZ MOORE 1932 – 2019 I heard the gentle voice of God my Father, whispering, “My Child”, Anneliese , loving wife of Willie W. Moore, daughter of, Ludwig Kainz and Rosina Kainz, sister of Gunter Kainz and sister Helga, your loving family. My child, today, January 15, 2019 is the joyful day you will enter heaven forever. Your loved ones are waiting for you. God will take you there. I was born 16 May 1932 in the city of Muncllen, Germany and spent my childhood and teen years during the Second World War. My father and host of my relatives perished during that time. I am the last member of my family of relatives. For two years I attended Riemer Schmidt College, met my American darling and became a US Air Force military wife and on my way to New York, a new country, new language, a new life. My husband and the Air Force became my family, over the years home was in another state, another country, customs, friendships and many separations, made it a good life. I am a member of the Air Force Memorial Foundation in Washington, D.C. and a member of the Airman’s Society. The longest time I lived in one place was four years in Japan, land of the Rising Sun, and exciting land. I studied painting with a well-known artist for three years, did volunteer work for the American Red Cross. I tutored Japanese students in English and German and taught orphans to swim and chaperoned teen parties and trips, and I climbed Mt. Fuji, Japans most beautiful mountain. Every Japanese’s duty to climb it once. After our military life ended and my husband retired we moved to Lynchburg, VA permanently. I became a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church for the next 38 years. General Electric Co. became my employer for the next 25 years till my retirement. During this time my husband died and left me forever and I miss him forever and ever but God our Father in Heaven has been my guide and friend. To Judy and Ray my earth angels, best friends, always extending a helping hand, I love you dearly. To my friends I say good bye, till we meet again. God bless you and keep you. Please don’t cry at my grave- I’m no longer there. I did not die. My soul is on the way to live forever with God my Father in his Heavenly Kingdom. Interment will be at Fort Hill Memorial Park at the Mausoleum Garden on January 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm. A graveside service will be offered by Rev. Msgr. Michael D. McCarron, KCHS of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
