Arthur "Buck" Dodson Jr.

Arthur “Buck” Dodson, Jr., 54, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, March 16, 2018, at his home on Clover Leaf Farms. Born January 18, 1964, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Arthur Dodson, Sr. and the late Sue Dodson. Buck was a graduate of Rustburg High School and a graduate of VCU with a major in business. He was an entrepreneur in multiple states and President of Dodson Management Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great nephew, Logan. Arthur is survived by his sisters, Nanci Jo Dodson Tucker and her fiancé Wayne Saunders, Madeline Russ and her husband Ronnie Dudley; his adopted son, Shelby Dodson; nephew, Brandon Guenther; niece, Kayla Cousins and her husband Mario and their children: Kynzlee, Korben, Aayliah and Kora; and former brother-in-law, Larry Tucker, Jr. A memorial service will be conducted 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Tree of Life Ministries with Pastor J. Mike Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the family home place on Suburban Rd. in Lynchburg.
