Born March 25, 1969 in Lynchburg he was a son of Sandra Adams and the late Aubrey Reid Mays. He was employed with Banker Steel.
In addition to his mother, Aubrey is survived by his daughter, Amanda Dawn Ooten and her husband, Joshua Michael and their two children, Savannah Mackenzie Ooten and Madison Nicole Ooten of Grenta; brother, Troy Allen Mays and his wife, Lisa Johnson Mays of Evington; and sister, Amy Elizabeth Adams of Evington.
A Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by the Rev. Tommy Bryant. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Inurnment will take place Monday, March 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Virginia Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Joshua King.
