Audrey Cunningham Smith

Born on July 9, 1935 in Long Island, she was the daughter of the late Jesse T. Cunningham, Sr. and Alise F. Cunningham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, William B. Smith and her brother, Jesse T. Cunningham, Jr.

She worked for over 35 years as a Lead Operator at GE/Ericsson prior to her retirement. She loved playing and watching basketball, drawing, working puzzles and vacationing in the Outer Banks. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Dean S. Smith (Betty) ; grandchildren Derek Smith (Michele) and Stacey Campbell (Sean); two sisters Gloria C. Kelly and Bonnie C. Ward; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, August 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
