Barbara Burley Farmer

Barbara Jane Burley Farmer, 69, of Madison Heights, VA passed at Virginia Baptist Hospital on June 20, 2016. She was born on March 15, 1947 to the late George and Ouida Adcock. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Gary Farmer and Tommy Burley.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Bryan of San Francisco, CA and son David Burley, wife Laurie of Manassas, Virginia as well as step-grandson Zach Middleton. She is also survived by three brothers George (Elsie), James (Cora), Michael (Karla) and two sisters, Ann (Pete) and Roma (Leslie).

Everyone who knew and loved her would recognize her as “Punk”. There will be many nieces and nephews that will miss that flare for telling us what she thought and loving us at the same time.

Barbara was charter member of Randolph Memorial Baptist Church and retired after many years of service from the Lynchburg Foundry.
