

Born on October 26, 1933, in Campbell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest S. Hillsman and Sallie W. Hillsman.
Barbara was preceded in death by her two cherished children, Ronald Wilson and Donna Rawlings, as well as her brother, Cecil Hillsman.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Barbara had a deep love for bingo, reading, and crocheting. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, which was the center of her life. Her warm presence and gentle spirit will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Charles E. Wilson; her children, Rhonda Perry (Kenneth) and Barry Wilson (Lynette); her sister, Judy Durham; six grandchildren, Kenneth Perry II (Kristen), Candice Perry, Courtney Perry, Megan Brodie (Scottie), Noel Rawlings, and Gregory Harris; and three great-grandchildren, Keira Perry, Kallen Perry, and Leon Perry. She also leaves behind too many special family members and friends to list by name, all of whom she adored deeply.
A graveside service to honor Barbara’s memory will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Leffler Memorial Community Cemetery. Pastor Marvin Buise will officiate.
