

Born in Durham, N.C., the fourth of sixteen children to the late Nannie and William Watson. She was the wife of the late George A. Erdesky and was preceded in death by her second son, William R. Erdesky and her first grandson, Kevin E. Wheeler.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters: Annette Wheeler of Dallas, TX, Susan Freer of Goode, with whom she lived for the past eight years, Helen Jones (Buddy) of Durham, N.C. and Kathryn Clendening of Rocky Mount and son, Michael J. Erdesky (Judy) of Durham, N.C.;
She is survived by her sisters: Nonie Rose and Mabel Laws of Durham, NC, Catherine Bowling (Bobby) of Franklinton, NC and brothers: Clifton Watson (Margaret), Roy Watson and Bobby Watson of Durham, NC and Jim Watson (Esther) of Goldsboro, NC.: seven grandchildren, April Likins of Lynchburg, Lauren McAuliffe of Southborough, MA, Justin Freer of Goode, Kyle Wheeler of Plano, TX, Mark Erdesky of Fuquay-Varina, N.., Robert Erdesky of Sarasota, FL and Melissa Clendening of Carrboro, N.C. and four great grandchildren, Carmen Hudson and Luke McAuliffe of Southborough, MA, Kallan Wheeler and Bren Wheeler of Plano, TX.
Beatrice was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Durham, N.C. where she was a charter member of The Catholic Daughters. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and a seamstress. She loved to read, watch college or NBA basketball and spend time with her beloved family. All who knew her were blessed and honored by her presence.
The celebration of her life will take place at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Church in Durham, N.C.
The family will receive friends at 12:50 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Church.
