

Born in Evington, January 28, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Willie Green Mason and Mary Logwood Mason. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Dawn D. Osal and her husband Rafael of Rustburg; one brother Guilford Mason and his wife Sally of King, NC; two sisters, Helen M. Laird of Pensacola, FL and Clara M. Crouch of Lynch Station and two grandsons, Robert Osal and Michael Osal of Rustburg.
In addition to her parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Schooler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge Dr. Julie Suppa, Dr. Leigh Anne Cantrell and the teams at Lynchburg General and UVA Hospitals as well as the staff of Centra Hospice and Lynchburg Health and Rehab. for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Doss.
