

Born July 28, 1936 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank Thompson Drewry and the late Viola Layne Drewry and was also preceded in death by five sisters.
Mrs. Watts was a retired Home Health Care Nurse and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Fairview U.M. Church.
Mrs. Watts is survived by one daughter, Debbie W. Sligh of Avon, NC; three sons, John Thompson Watts and wife Laura and Mike Watts, all of Rustburg, and Eddie Watts and wife Teresa of Richmond; one brother, Bob Drewry of Lynchburg; a sister-in-law, Jewel Massie of Lynchburg; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a special friend and caregiver, Debbie Franklin of Rustburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor Carlton Duck officiating. Interment will follow at the Candler Family Cemetery on Camp Hydaway Road.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2013 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
