Bobby “Dino” Gene Blevins, 47, of Rustburg passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was the husband of Kimberly Bell Blevins. Born December 2, 1970, in Lynchburg, he was the son of Virginia Daniels Blevins and the late Bobby Gene Blevins, Sr.
Bobby was a truck driver for Thompson Trucking Company, and attended Hyland Heights Baptist Church. He was an avid drag racer and motorcycle rider. Bobby was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his daughter, Lauren Ashley Sanford and his son-in-law, Kristopher of Temple, GA; his mother, Virginia Daniels Blevins; one brother, Ryan Scott Blevins of Lynchburg; granddaughter, Taylor Belle Sanford; godparents, Gilley and Shirley Gilliand of Rustburg; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Wayne Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2018, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence.
