

Born on February 28, 1939, in Rensselaer IN, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Myrtle Wuerthner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Rex Wuerthner.
Bonnie received a B.Sc. in Home Economics and Dietetics from Purdue University and worked as a dietician at Purdue residence halls and later at the Central Virginia Training Center in Madison Heights. Bonnie was the primary supporter of the family during her husband Tom's graduate studies for a Ph.D. in Materials Sciences and Metallurgical Engineering at Purdue University. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas P. Papazoglou; her son, John Papazoglou (Radhika); and a brother, Robert Wuerthner (Sally).
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and aides throughout the years for the compassion, love and care shown to Bonnie, especially Dr. Russell Melton, Dr. John MacNeill and Dr. Mahmoud Rasheed.
Special thanks to the staff at Runk and Pratt Liberty Ridge, Enhabit Home Health and Gentle Shepherd Hospice—the family appreciates everything that was done for Bonnie.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Fort Hill Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Father Nicholas Bacalis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1724 Langhorne Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24503.
