Brandon Scott Carter

Born on July 18, 1986 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Brenda Lee Carter and the late Robert Dale Tyree.

Brandon was employed with York Construction. He enjoyed watching football, in which he was a diehard Washington Redskins fan, playing horseshoes and video games, and watching boxing.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Chester Price.

In addition to his mother, Brenda, Brandon is survived by his girlfriend of 15 years, Jessica Faith Williams; daughter, Serenity Faith Carter; sisters, Melissa Nicole Carter and Samantha Tyree; brother, Troy Lee Carter; step-dad Billy Ray Wilson, how helped raise Brandon; maternal grandparents, James and Louise Moore; paternal grandmother, Elsie Price; niece, Teresa Marie Hernandez and her daughter Nina Rain; nephew, Joseph Stump; aunt, Norma Jean Carter and her daughters, Kandace Rae Moore and Heather Ann Moore; great aunt and uncle, Shirley and Sam Logwood; special friend, Jason “JP” Price, who was like a brother;; and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.
