Brenda Gayle Lewis, 72 of Lynchburg passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.

She was born in Lynchburg on September 14, 1951, daughter of the late Franklin and Frances Harder.

Brenda was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. She retired from Walmart and was an avid animal lover.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Simmers and a brother, Robert Harder.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa and Karen; two brothers, David Harder and wife Vanessa and Earl Harder. She is also survived by several grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Burial will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
