Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, R. A. Tibbs, Jr. She is survived by her children, Sunny Thornton, Chris (Laurie) Tibbs; grandchildren, Chase Thornton, Wyatt Thornton, Sully Tibbs, Grayson Tibbs, & Story (Robbie) Toney.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Lebanon Methodist Church, where Brenda was a long time member, on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00pm. Visitation with the family will be at 1:00pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider a donation to Lebanon Methodist Church, 4565 New London Road, Forest, VA 24551.
