I met Carolyn at Mark and Laurieanne’s wedding. I remember how helpful she was in keeping everything organized and welcoming everyone. She noted who was in attendance and made sure all felt welcome. I sensed in Carolyn strength, wisdom, grace, and love. I am sad to hear of her passing but thankful for her life and inspiring example. May we all live with such grace! God bless you Carolyn and Bob! With sorrow but appreciation, David Dent in San Diego

So very sorry for the loss of Carolyn. We were friends since we were in first grade at Courtney High School. That is a long time.
We will miss here every day.

Bob and Carolyn were "across the street" neighbors for a few years in Cornerstone where we have lived for the last 9 years. They are wonderful, friendly people who always had some nice, encouraging things to say each time we saw them. We were sorry to see them leave and move to Forest last year, but thankful that we did run into them a couple of times during that year. Carolyn's homegoing was an unexpected, sad surprise at first, but our sadness quickly turned to joy for her!
May the God of all Comfort be especially close to all of the family during these days of adjustment. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." (John 11:25)

I grew up with the Hemrics as close neighbors and friends. Mark was one of my best friends growing up and helped me learn how to play baseball and basketball. I have so many fond (and random) memories of Mrs. Hemric from my first taste of Dr. Pepper to my first taste of “real ice cream”. I remember Mrs. Hemric almost always having a smile on her face...unless Mark or I had done something to make her smile go away, lol! Mr. Hemric was always very generous with what seemed to be an authentic laugh at one of my silly jokes. Dolores was one of my sister’s best friends and they both did their best to tolerate us boys. The world has lost a great friend but doesn’t Heaven seem to be glowing right now!
