Carrie Parrish Johnson

She was born in Nelson County on December 4, 1939, daughter of the late Leslie A. Parrish and the late Mary H. Parrish.

Carrie retired from GE-Ericcson and attended GracePointe Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Swanson J. Johnson and a son, Lee Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Barbara Stanley and husband Kent; six grandchildren, Brandon Stanley and wife Brooke, Lindsey Johnson, Josh Johnson, Scott Stanley, Berkley Smith and husband Gary and Alex Thurston and wife Lauren; three great grandchildren, Camden Stanley, Kacen Dixon, and Kendall Stanley.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-11:50 am on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at GracePointe Baptist Church where a Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
