Born July 19, 1939 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Charles Samuel Wallower, Jr. and the late Lucille Christine Pearson Wright. He was a retired Counselor with Pathways, a U.S. Navy veteran, and was a member of Fairview Christian Church.
Mr. Wallower is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Wallower Thorne and husband Mark of Woodland Hills, CA and Tracy Wallower of Lynchburg; one brother, Billy Wright of Lynchburg; one sister, Sue Powell and husband, Chris of Roanoke; one grandson, Samuel Thorne of Woodland Hills, CA; his former wife and very close friend, Dianne Johnston of Lynchburg and many loving and supportive friends and family.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, at the funeral home, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
