

Born on January 16, 1945, in Matoaka, West Virginia, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Creed Everett Roberts and Eva May Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Curtis Roberts, Danny Roberts, and Sharon Bulson.
Charlotte was a faithful member of Yellow Branch Baptist Church and was known as a woman after God’s own heart. Her faith guided her life and served as an inspiration to all who knew her. She had a very giving spirit and a loving heart, always putting others before herself.
She truly loved life and embraced it fully. Charlotte enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the ocean, which held a special place in her heart. She also found joy in crafts, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion that will be cherished by her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Fred Thomas Lamonds; her two daughters, Kimberly Nausbaum and Debbie Martin (Jimmy); four grandchildren, Kacee Palmer (Jared), Charles Nausbaum III, Holly Lastinger (Tim), and Frederick Thomas Nausbaum; one sister, Janice Lane; and two cherished great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Tim Wilde officiating.
